Background

In 2020, the pandemic required they learn new tools, rework curriculum for online, conduct virtual lessons, check-in with students– all on top of personally navigating these uncertain times and in isolation from their peers and school support system. Teachers needed our appreciation more than ever.

What we did

We segmented our efforts into three approaches. 

  • TFA’s Network: Tactics that help our network thank a teacher quickly, easily, and with no cost. Will add to digital conversation, expand reach and may be used for compilations or be re-shared on our social channels.
  • Direct to teachers: Tactics that deliver directly to teachers. Limited call to acts: tactics should be delivering direct value (ie: come to the event, redeem gift) to users.
  • TFA regional teams to teachers:Tactics that support Regions delivering value to teachers and amplify the campaign.

  • 30k total pageviews of all event traffic

  • 618 downloads of tools and assets on campaign landing page

Social Media

  • #Love4Teachers: 4.1M impressions / 33k engagements / 2,142 comments

  • TFA Instagram augmented reality filter: 94k impressions /4.7k captures / 305 shares

  • Instagram Live Activation with D-Nice

    • 323% increase in use of #Love4Teachers noted from pre live steam to the end of the campaign

    • 16.9k Attended – surpassed our attendance goal by 42%
